A dual-branded location combining Buffalo Wild Wings Go and Jimmy John’s is set to begin service in Palmetto, Fla., on Aug. 18, offering a single storefront with separate kitchens and a continued drive-thru option for the sandwich chain.

Palmetto residents will be the first to see the experiment, as the two quick-service names launch a shared facility intended to serve fans who turn out for local sports. The opening date was confirmed in a report from Nation’s Restaurant News.

Both concepts are owned by Inspire Brands, the company that also oversees Dunkin’, Arby’s and Sonic. Executives said Palmetto was chosen because the town’s social life revolves heavily around athletic events, from Friday-night high school football to the nearby major-league spring training schedule.

The venue will have one entrance and a common dining room where customers can pick between menus; each brand will operate its own food-preparation area. Jimmy John’s will maintain its drive-up lane, allowing customers to skip the shared dining space if they prefer quick takeout.

Industry watchers say combining outlets helps operators spread costs and attract a wider mix of customers. Inspire has already tested other paired formats, and rival companies such as Dine Brands and MTY Food Group have rolled out similar combinations. “Putting two recognizable names side by side can boost traffic while trimming overhead,” said Maria Torres, a restaurant consultant. “For guests it’s more choice in one stop; for owners it can mean better returns on the same parcel of land.”
